HI! It's Time for a New Verse!

Hello! Today's verse is the simple commandment in Exodus 20:13. "Thou shalt not kill." Some of you are thinking, "Psht, I can do that. I don't have the guts to kill anyone. I'm fine." Well, have you even wished that someone would die? Or have you wished that you could harm that person or have you harmed that person? The words, "Thou shalt not kill." doesn't just mean death. It means angry thoughts and wishing harm on others. When you're angry at someone else, it's a sin. "Thou shalt not kill." also isn't just plain killing. It's killing in cold blood. In the Bible, God asked His servant, King David, to kill all the wicked heathen that populated the promised land. David wasn't sinning when he fought wars. He was doing God's will. If you kill to defend yourself, your country, or your God, in my opinion that isn't a sin. God knows what your motives to kill and to get angry are. He knows whether you're sinning or not. Even annoyance is a sin since the fruit of the Spirit is long-suffering and patience. We can't be perfect, but we can try our hardest to follow God's will. Cảm ơn bạn đã đọc bài này. Thank you, friend for reading this.
