Hello readers! I am a girl with an overactive imagination and some random hyperactive bursts. I get it from my six year old brother. Writing and reading are two things I do a lot. I may offend some people without meaning to and forgive me if I do. I just want say that I want your imput. This is your blog too. Just ask and if I like it and it is reasonable, I'll put it onto my blog! I may be a little childish at times, but hey, that's how I am. Look around to see what I've made! Enjoy!

Hey! It's the New Verse!
Hiyas! Today's verse is, Proverbs 16:5. "Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not go unpunished." this verse may be a bit confusing, but I'll do my best to break it down. I'm not a Bible scholar l though Kenny thinks so. You know, the spelling bee cousin. Anyway, if I make a mistake or am not clear, comment or email me the problem and I'll fix it ASAP. Anyway, I think this verse is saying that God absolutely can't stand prideful people, so those people must be punished. That is the easier part to understand. The next part, "...though hand join in hand..." means that we though we may have been rescued from hell and now are in God's protecting hand, we still have to get punished for our sin. Sin of any kind, done by anyone, must be punished. Christians should realize that God is doing us a favor. If a dad never corrected you on anything, you'd be doing all kinds of wrong stuff. That's why parents correct, because they love us. God is our heavenly Father and is correcting us from heaven. We are being molded into the image of God. Not outwardly, but within. As we get to know God's word more and more, we will want to be more like Him. We will want to talk to Him more in prayer. If we just ask, God will give us a yearning for His word. A wanting to remain close to Him. Christianity, like I've said before, is not a one day thing. My piano teacher said, "Salvation is a dot that begins the line that keeps going until you meet Christ in heaven." A Christlike walk is what we need to do to keep that "line" straight. The line is our life. Can you say that you have a line coming from your salvation "dot"? Or are you a giant curve, always falling into sin? If you're the second choice, now you need to get right with God. Don't think that once you're saved you're sinless. I made that mistake a couple of years ago. You'll sin, but you're not off the hook when it comes to punishments. You will be punished because God wants you to realize how dangerous sin is. He cares about you. He is in control and He will bring good out of your punishment. You'll see.
