Hey! New Verse!

Sorry! I'm off today. I had to leave the house early which throws off everything. Anyway, Today's verse is Philippians 4:8. "Finally, breathren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virture, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Some people may be reading this and thinking, "What's with the long list of words?" This "long list of words" teaches us to be careful of the entertainment we choose. Christians have differents standards because they are from different homes. But, if something isn't holy, pure, true, honest, just, virturous, or worthy of praise, we shouldn't be involved in those things. As Christians, we are supposed to keep our lives pure and accepteable before God. I know what it is like to find a song that everyone you know likes, but you know that it goes against God's word. I know what it's like to be the odd one in a group. Don't worry. God will reward you in heaven and the mockery will seem miniscule compared to the reward. I felt the affects of ungodly music before. Some of you aren't as sensitive to the beat, music, and such. As a pianist, I have to be. I listened to a few songs I've never heard of and they were really catchy. I keep listening to them and as I did, I was thinking of things that I wouldn't otherwise. I stopped myself mid-thought and haven't listened to those songs ever since. The ungodly thoughts and tune and words can get to Christians and non-Christians alike. Please, be careful follow brothers and sister in Christ. Don't fall into the sin of wrong thought like I did not long ago.
