Just in Time Chapter 7 (Final): Home

Hi! Alright, this is the last chappie. ^_^ It'll be a bit shorter than the others. Just warning ya. After this, I'll being doing the short random stories when I have time. Let's go to recap! Recap: Sally and Cosmos help defend the RR HQ against a midnight GEM invasion. Sally decides to fight in her own way. Not wanting to kill anyone, she adjusts a bomb's mechanics and makes it non-lethal. That helped to greatly reduce the GEM's numbers allowing them to push them out of the HQ.

Chapter 7: Home
Cosmos's POV
I sit on my bed relaxing happily at the victory we had and waiting for the news to come on. I can't wait to see what the reporters say about the GEM. Sally knocks on my door, and I motion her in. Plopping onto my bed, she asks, "So what are we watching?" I grin at her.
"GEM's downfall." I say still grinning. She smiles back.
"Oh, yay! My favorite show." Sally replies hugging one of my pillows. I can't help but chuckle at her. As the news came on, the very first thing they say is that they have breaking news.
"Citizens of our beloved country. We have been tricked and played as fools. The supposed GEM organization are nothing but thieves and liars. We have footage of the "peaceful diplomic meeting" the GEM planned for the RR. In truth, the meeting is violent, and many lies are revealed. The president is horrified and angered. He will be giving a speech about what will be done to these monsters tomorrow. We will keep you posted on what is going on, and we all owe a large apology to the RR. The president himself plans to thank and ask the RR for forgivness during his speech tomorrow. We'll be right back."
"Woo-hooo!" Sally shouts jumping up and down on the bed. "Good trumps evil all the time!" I laugh at her childishness. She laughs as well and playfully smacks me with a pillow. I grab a pillow and smack her back, and soon, it's a full blow pillow fight.
Sally's POV
It's been an hour since we had landed at Washington D.C. It's also just an hour after the speech is scheduled to end. The RR stand and watch as I stand nervously before the time machine. I turn and smile sadly before facing the portal. I see a sad Cosmos in the crowd near the front.A jolt of pain goes through my chest, but I swallow hard and don't look at him. I turn my back to him and prepare to leave. I see time rewind before me. It stops at my time and begins to fly towards my home. I see my old school and the park. I begin to smile before the next picture appears on the portal. I gasp, and my body begins to shake. Before my eyes are the ruins of my home. Fire fighters say something about an insane scientist's laser. Tears flood my eyes as I see the burned bodies of my younger brothers. "No, no, this can't be. NO!" I fall to my knees and sob. My family is gone. I shook my head. No, I'll see them again. In heaven, I'll see them again. God is with them, and they are with their Savior. One day I'll join them. A hand grips my shoulder. "It's okay Sally. Let's go back to the ship." Cosmos whispers in my ear. His eyes are filled with care, and he gently helps me up. I nod. One day, but not yet. I know God has more for me to do here.

Hi! Just in Time Chapter 6: GEM vs. RR

Hey! It's been a LONG time I know. I get writter's block easily. Anyway, I'm planning to work hard and finish the last two chapters today. You read right. This chapter and the next will probably the last ones. Anyway, to the recap! Recap: Sally escapes the GEM (Global Equality Movement) and brought a hoverboard. SHe manages to fly it but is chased by GEM. Thankfully, Cosmos rides up on his hoverboard and blasts the GEM out of the sky. She is taken back to RR HQ (Ranger's Resistance Headquarters) and is getting her cuts patched up.

Chapter 6: GEM vs. RR
Cosmos's POV
I wake up groggily and turn to look at the hovering clock next to my bed. "Why did I have to wake up at 3:30 a.m. Agh!" I groan. I stop mid-groan and listen carefully. There, not far outside, is a sound. There it is again. It sounds like...."Heat seekers." I murmur before flying out of bed and into Arch's room. Arch looks freaked out at me. I would too if my best friend runs in at 3 a.m. in his pj's. "Heat seekers. Coming." I gasp out and drag him to the window. Sure enough, there are GEM all around our HQ. They haven't found it yet, but it's only a matter of time before they do. Arch shoves me out of his room.
"Go change and wake the others. I'll get the amunition." he commands. I don't argue and run for it. In five minutes, I'm banging on the doors downthe hall shouting, "GEM attack! Wake up! Everyone report to your assigned locations." Sally runs out of her hopsital room, her hair dishelved, but her eyes are alert. I toss her a laser gun. "Help me wake everyone up. Then, I'll show you where to go." She nods and grabs something from her bag. It looked like an antique of some kind.
"Plug your ears." she says. I comply just as she presses the button on top. A blaring honk could be heard from the entire building. She does this twice, and I'm sure no one is asleep.
After the chaos of running to the assigned stations, the GEM finds the entrances and charges at it. Sally grabs her bullhorn and tapes the button down. Tossing the blaring horn into the enemy lines, she turns to Arch and waits for her orders. Arch ignores her to my annoyance, but she just shrugs and pulls out a camera. "Time to get proof of GEM's lies." I catch on to her idea.
"Wait, I can wire the entire security system to record this fight and every words spoken by the GEM. The citizens will soon know the truth." I tell her and run to the control room. The fight of my life ensues. Sally blasts the two GEM on the left and runs to me.
"We've almost got them running. I need to go to the armory and get something." Before I could reply, she runs off.
Sally's POV
I sprint as fast as my legs will carry me. Turning around the corner, I blasts my laser gun and knock a GEM unconscious. Jumping over his body, I skid to a stop in front of the armory. Pulling out some tools, I begins toying with the bombs that are there. After a while, I manage to adjust the mechanics a bit. I put it and several others into my pocket and run outside the building. I see the rest of the GEM outside of the building. Tossing the adjusted bomb, I duck back inside. Hearing the masive boom, I peek out of a window. The entire courtyard of people are all knocked unconscious. "Effective and non-lethal." I whisper excitedly. Soon, we are able to push the GEM back and out before firing up the engines and flying out of there.
Running into the control room, I watch as Cosmos takes out the CD...well...something that looks like a CD, smiling triumphantly. We then show Arch the CD like thing, and even he's impressed. Kelly scrowls at me though. I think it's because I'm Cosmos's friend, but oh well. I'm leaving anyway. I become a bit sad at the thought but remind myself that I belong in the past. Looking out the window, I press my hand against the bullet proof glass. "Hold on a little longer, Lil' Bro. Big Sis will be home soon."

Hypocrisy: Act or Truth

Hello! As I has said, I'll be doing more of the subject, idea, traits paragraphs and not the verses. God's word is the saving faith and I will put up referrences to verses that go along with what we are talking about.
Today, the subject is hypocrisy. It simply means acting, faking, lying. If you are a hypocrite, you put on this outward show for people to see, but you are very different on the inside. God says that the Pharasees were hypocrites. He said that they were like pretty white designs on a person's grave, but inside was rotting flesh and bone. Same thing with Cain. He put on an outward show for his parents and brother, Abel, but inside, he didn't care about God. He just did it because that's what he had to do. When he was confronted with true worship of God by his brother, he lashed out and killed Abel. The Pharasees were the same. When Jesus told them their sins, they lashed out and constantly tried to put Jesus to death. What are you? Are you truely a Christian or are you just putting on a pretty mask to fit in? Your hypocrisy will find you out one day. Hiding sins is useless. God sees all and knows all. If you don't repent, then you will end up like Cain and the Pharasees. They are eternally seperated from God and are burning in the pits of hell. Repent and accept the free gift. Don't be a hypocrite. It will bring you know good.

HIYAS!!!!!!

I'm soooooooo sorry for the EXTREMELY long wait. I've started school a few weeks ago and had a lot of work to do. I think that I'm going to have to stop doing stories after these last few since the school week is usually packed with homework. Instead of verses, I'll be doing a certain attitude, trait, or action. (Like being angry, spreading the word, etc.) Sorry again for not doing anything for the past month and a half. I think. I lost track of time after a while. See ya, and hope you have a good school year. ^_^

Good Day! How About the Next Hymn!

Hi! What's up! Today's hymn is "Jesus Paid It All." This is a wonderful hymn because it reminds us that we just need to believe in Jesus. We don't have to do anything else, and we can't do anything else to get saved. Our strength is nothing compared to God. Truthfully, our strength really isn't our own. God's giving us the strength we have to go through the day and follow His commands. We have to watch and pray and find God. That's the only place where strength is. We need to trust God's power and His alone. He can do anything. He can heal and destroy. He can melt the heart of stone. After this hard race has been run, we can stand before God in our perfect bodies. We will be able to see the savior that gave His life for us. Enjoy!

Jesus Paid It All
  1. I hear the Savior say,
    “Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
    • Refrain:
      Jesus paid it all,
      All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
  2. For nothing good have I
    Whereby Thy grace to claim;
    I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.
  3. And now complete in Him,
    My robe, His righteousness,
    Close sheltered ’neath His side,
    I am divinely blest.
  4. Lord, now indeed I find
    Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
    Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.
  5. When from my dying bed
    My ransomed soul shall rise,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
    Shall rend the vaulted skies.
  6. And when before the throne
    I stand in Him complete,
    I’ll lay my trophies down,
    All down at Jesus’ feet.
Have an awesome day!

Just in Time Chapter 5: Flight and Fight

Hi! This is the next chapter! Sorry if I made wait so long. to the recap! Recap: Sally wakes up in a cold cell in the GEM HQ. Because of the head injury, she remembers what happened to her. Being from the past, she tries her hardest to figure out a way to escape. As she is being lead out of the building to her death, she knocks the guards unconscious and escape. This chapter is different from the others because it switches back and force between Sally's and Cosmos's POVs. Enjoy!

Chapter 5: Flight and Fight
Sally's POV

I turn abruptly at a corner. Sadly, I don't know where I am or where I need to go. I frantically look around from my hiding place in the bushes. I spot a sports store that has a sign in the window that says, "HUGE SALE! HOVERBOARDS AND HELMETS FOR $55.00 each." I dig into my pockets and punch the air in excitment. I had just enough. I run across the street and burst through the sliding doors. The occupants stare at me stunned. I look down at and mental facepalm myself. I am covered in my own blood and dirt. I'm a mess! I run to the aisle that has hoverboards and grab one that looks like my size. I slammed down the dollar bills in front of the still stunned cashier. He fumbles with the check out, and after a while I finally leave. Running down the street into a nearby alley, I open the instructions guide and begin to read. After an hour of careful reading and practice in the alley. I think I'm ready to fly. Sadly, the GEM passes by just as I leave the alley. Why do I always have the worst of luck. I think before I floor the accelerator and fly straight for the park. I'm sure I can find a place to hide there. Things aren't going the way I plan sadly. The GEM cut me off, and I'm forced to turn west instead of south. I continue to fly and am careful to not run into many people. I fly out of the city and above a busy highway. I see that the future took the word HIGHway seriously. There isn't an actual road. It's just a bunch or cars moving in a straight line. There are floating wall like things on each side of the road. I slide into the flow of hovercars, and then drop altitude until I'm skimming over the treetops. I turn to see that the GEM are still on my tail. Turning back to the front, I catch a glimse of the RR HQ in the trees. The coating device isn't on for some reason, but I didn't care. I'm going to do some fancy flying. There's no way I'm letting Zander get Cosmos.
Cosmos's POV

I am in the control room with Kelly, Arch, and some others from RR. Arch is teaching the newer members about how Steven Ranger founded this organization three years ago, and how he was killed in an important battle. Kelly slides her chair next to mine. "Are you still upset over that measly girl?" I didn't look at her and glance out the window. What I see makes me spit out the coffee I am drinking. Slamming the cup onto the nearby table, I run to the window. My actions scare Kelly causing her to fall out of her chair and spill coffee all over herself. Sure enough, in the distance I see four figures flying towards of us. Suddenly, one swerves away, and the others follow. I pull out my binoculars and look. Just as I suspected. Sally is leading the GEM away from us. I grab my hoverboard which is leaning against the wall next to me. Arch and the others are looking out hte window too. I toss him my binoculars and run out.
Once outside, I kick the hoverboard into overdrive and speed after them. Pulling out my laser gun, I blast the three GEM hoverscycles out of the sky, sending them spiraling down to earth. Sally turn to me. I wince at the sight of her up close. She is a mess. She's covered head to toe in cuts and bruises. We fly back to the ship just as Arch and Kelly fly out. "Cosmos wait...yikes!" Arch says once he sees Sally. She chuckles sheepishly.
"It's a long story." she says rubbing the back of her head. I can't help but notice the angry look that Kelly has on her face. We lead her back into the ship and get her into the infirmery. She rolls her eyes as we help her into a bed. "It seems like this is the only room I visit everytime I'm here." We laugh at her comment, well, Arch and I, not Kelly. She just continues scowling at Sally. We leave her be, but she calls out after me. "Thanks again, Cosmos!"

Hi! It's Time for a Brand New Verse!

Well, hi everybody! Today's verse is romans 8:4. "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." This verse is saying that we should try our hardest to follow God's law in order to show how wonderful and righteous God is. We should be people who seek God and His word. We shouldn't be people who search for the pleasures this wicked world has to offer. THe subject of te world is somewhat confusing. God says we should love the people of the world and telling the lost about Him and His salvation. He also says that we should hate the things that are in the world. We shouldn't love the people and the sin that the people are in. We should hate the sin and love the lost soul in need of a savior. We shouldn't be besties with that unsaved person either. It's easy for an unsaved person to drag a Christian into sin, but it's hard for a Christian to drag an unsaved out of sin. Witnessing is had. Trust me. I still can't witness really well. I'm not good with strangers. I act all hyper, nervous, and SUPER weird. :o| We all have different talents. If you can't do something as well as someone else, don't fret. God as a different plan for everyone. He will use you the way He wants to. Just trust Him and be patient. I'm not the most patient person in the world. I'm easily aggrivated. So, you're not the only one having trouble. We also have to remember that we have to follow God's law wherever we are. Even if we're trying our hardest to witness and be kind, but the person just slammed his/her door in our face. We just have to remember to be patient. We have to uphod God's law no matter what. Evne if our reputation in school or whatever else is at stake. We should also remember that God wants us to obey Him instead of man. So, let's say that you're at this party with your friends and some people decided to crash that party. What would you do if things began to get out of hand and no matter what you do your friends won't leave? Well, you should leave even if it costs you your friends. Your loyalty to God is more important than your friends. Your friends are human. If they hate you, there's only a limited amount of things they can do to you. If God hates you, He can do anything He wants with you. He's the all powerful God of the universe after all. Remember We need to show God's righteousness in everything we do, but don't stray from the narrow way when you're trying to do it.

Hi! It's the Hymn for Today!

Hi! Sorry for being so late. I had my cousin Kenny come over earlier today. He just left a few minuts ago. Today's hymn is "Be Strong in the Lord." This verse is encouraging us not to slack off in our Christian walks. We shouldn't be afraid of what men can do because God is on our side. It goes over all of God's great characteristics. He's our Defender. He'll always be the same. We are reminded to put on the armor of God. He will guide us. He is our Commander. He will defeat our enemies. We can trust Him fully. Enjoy!

Be Strong in the Lord
Lyrics
1, Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage
Your mighty Defender is always the same
Mount up with wings as the eagle ascending
Victory is sure when you call on His name

Be strong be strong be strong in the Lord
And be of good courage for He is your guide
Be strong be strong be strong in the Lord
And rejoice for the victory is yours

2. So put on the armor the Lord has provided
And place your defense in His unfailing care
Trust Him for He will be with you in battle
Lighting your path to avoid every snare

3. Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage
Your mighty Commander will vanquish the foe
Fear not the battle for the victory is always His
He will protect you wherever you go

Have an awesome day!

Just in Time Chapter 4: Remembering before Death

Hi! The title's tells what's going to happen isn't it? Anyway, let's go to the recap. Recap: Cosmos watches you (Sally) being taken to GEM headquarters. Cosmos is then forced to abandon you and Arch and Kelly seem happy to see you gone. Arch thinks your just trouble while Kelly just hates you because you're cute and a friend of Cosmos. Cosmos then watches the broadcast about your capture and admits that the reporters were right. They are leaving you behind. Oh, and today's chapter (if you haven't figured it out by the title) is in your (Sally's) POV. Enjoy!

Chapter 4: Facing Death
I groan painfully as I slowly sit up from the cold metal bed thing I am in. I look around the room. I eyes widen as I see nothing but steel walls and one window that was a one way mirror. It was probably eight feet off the ground and there are no chairs here. I look under the bed. Nothing's there accept the chains the keep the bed on the floor. I lay down and close my eyes and soon fall asleep.
Dream
*I am in a room with blue walls and pictures of stars and planets all over the place. There is an overloaded bookcase and a trophy case next to it. I walk over look at the trophies. All are 1st place martial arts trophies. There is a Tai Kwon Do one, a Kung Fu, a Karate, and a Judo one. Then a gymnastics trophy next to three violin trophies. On each one the name Sally Maroles is engraved. I gasp and whirl around as footsteps run up into the room. Before I could hide, a little boy about seven runs in. I freeze, but he walks right through me. "It's a dream. He can't see me." I tell myself shakily. The little boy has my chocolate brown hair and baby blue eyes. He sits down on the bed and cries in the indigo pillow. I step tentively forward to hear what he's wailing into the pillow.
"Where are you Sally? I want you home. Mom and Dad have been fighting since you disappeared." He continues to sob as the door opens to reveal a young boy about thirteen with blond hair but the same blue eyes.
"It's going to be okay, Zach. She'll come home. Sally will find a way back to us. Now, stop crying and listen to your big brother." the older boy whispers softly. Zach lifts his head from the pillow. His eyes slightly red.
"How d-do you know th-that, Jer-Jeremy?" Zach asks hiccuping every so often.
Jeremy smiles at his little brother. "Because, even though Sally can be nervous and clumsy, she's also very clever and can get out of a bind. Just trust me." Zach nods silently as the dream begins to fade away. *
I wake up stunned. I remember! I was on a field trip when a mad scientist can storming into the museum we were in. He demanded that he get the scientific prize for his time machine. The scientist with us had refused, and he, the mad scientish, got...well...mad. He then grabs me saying that he will send me one hundred years into the future and shoves me into the portal which sends me into GEM HQ. I remember! I jump out of my bed and hop around the room for a bit in joy. I calm down after a few minutes of jumping and sit down on the bed. "I've got to get a hoverboard. They're much faster than the GEM police cars. The problem is how to get one. I'm pretty sure that I could jump out of a window and fly away like I did with Cosmos." My planning comes to a screeching halt when a GEM officer walks in followed by Zander and two more officers.
"Well, little girl, do you mind telling me where your little friend is going to?" he asks with fake sweetness. I glare at him and remain silent. He immeditely frowns and grabs me by the collar. "TELL ME!" he screams in my face. I remain silent. He calms down and has an evil look on his face. I mentally brace myself. "Well," he says letting go of me. "We've got ways to make you talk." I pale as they drag me out of the room.
We walk into a large room with a single bed and lots of cabinats and boxes in it. They shove me onto the bed with my back facing the ceiling. I am momentarily confused until a sharp pain streaks across my back. The torture continues. They use tortures from ancient times to modern which is the future. I didn't say anything throughout the whole time, and then they tied me to a chair. Zander steps up to me. "Alright, Sweety. Tell us where Cosmos is and what he's planning."
I sigh and say, "One, don't call me Sweety. Two, I don't even know what's going on. I got lost in your building and followed Cosmos. I don't know what happened between the two groups, but I'm not a part of it. I just want to go home." The lie detector they had strapped onto my arm flashes green, which means I'm telling the truth. Zander scowls.
"Well, you're of no use to us. You two take her outside and kill her."
I pale but calmly walk out with the two officers. Once out of the building, I twist the officer's hand forcing him to let go of me. The other officer shot and cut my handcuffs off by accident. I bolt out of the area, but not before knocking the two unconscious.

Hello People of Earth! It's Time for the Verse!

Alighty then! Today's verse is Hebrews 12:2. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured that cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." This verse is one that is pretty well known. It's says that we should keep our eyes on Christ. He fulfilled the promise God made about sending a Messiah in Hebrew or Christ in Greek, and He died and rose again finishing the necessary requirments to save His lost people from their sins. He started and finished our faith. That's why we need to keep our eyes on Him. We won't find a better example of the perfect Christian life than Christ's life. We need to follow His example and don't let hte world distract us. The rest of the verse tells of what Christ went through during His earthly life. Think about it. Christ, the perfect Son of God, came down from his throne in his perfect home in heaven surrounded by loving subjects to earth to be born in a very poor family. He came down from a home that is sinless to a world that is filled to the brim with sin. He came down from the riches and streets to gold to the small and poor home of a capenter. He left His throne to be a carpenter's son and oldest brother of sinful siblings. He left all the splendor to save us. Then, He left the comforts of His earthly family to be a teacher and a preacher. He then accepted the burden of the shameful cross. He did nothing wrong, but He endured the shameful cross and bore all of the world's sin on His shoulders. He was tortured before He went to the cross. He was beaten by a Roman soldier, and once that soldier was tired, another would take his place and continue beating Jesus with a whip. The whip itself had pieces of sharp glass, bone, and metal tied to it so the soldiers could rip out skin and flesh as they struck. Jesus went through all that, then had to carry a cross that would've been as heavy as a tree all the way to Calvary. There He was nailed to the cross and was forced to die from suffication. Jesus however didn't die from suffication. He gave up His life. He gave it up when He fulfilled every prophecy that there was about Him. He then was buried, rose again the third day, and then ascended to meet His Father in heaven. He's up in heaven right now, bringing the prayers of His church to His Father. He is loving us even though we have done so many things against Him. There's none in the world like Christ, no not one.

Hey Hey Hey! Hymn Time!

I back with today's hymn! Well, I'm going to try to be more specific when explaining the hymns. I hope I do better in spreading God's word. I've noticed that I've been so busy that I haven't been telling you about God very well. Today's hymn is "I'm Adopted". This song reminds us that, if we're God's children, we are no longer bond to sin and that we're adopted into God's family. Once we are in His family, there is no way anyone, not even Satan, can take us away from Him. Once a child of God, ALWAYS a child of God. He owns everything and controls everything so what do we have to fear? He is by our side and no man or demon can harm us unless it's His will. He will confort us and will never let us be lonely. With salvation in us, we've got a new song to sing. A song of praise and rejoicing to God.

I'm Adopted
1. I am adopted; I'm a child of the King.
God is my Father, and He owns everything.
He walks beside me; He's my very best friend.
Praise God, I'll never be lonely again.
           (Chorus)
I'm adopted, hallelujah! I've got a new song.
           I'm adopted, hallelujah! I fin'ly belong.
I've got a brand new family overflowing with love.
I'm a child of my Father above.
2. My Father chose me, and He loves me, I know.
He will be with me wherever I go.
I'll never worry; I have joined royalty.
I am a member of hte King's family.
           (Chorus)
I'm adopted, hallelujah! I've got a new song.
            I'm adopted, hallelujah! I fin'ly belong.
I've got a brand new family overflowing with love.
I'm a child of my Father above.

Have a nice day!

Just in Time Chapter 3: Left Behind

Hey! Alright, let's get right into the story. Recap: You woke up and went to the RR HQ. (I'll tell you what it stands for in the chapter). You go into the infirmery, and the nurse tells you to get some rest. Well, you get yourself lost and follow Cosmos, which turns out to be a bad idea. As you get the hoverboard, Zander, the alien looking police guy, tries to capture you. You and Cosmos fly away as Arch starts up the ship/HQ. The hoverboard's engine is blasted, and Cosmos manages to shoot a torpedo with a rope from his belt into the side of the ship. Zander cuts the rope slightly, and you let go so Cosmos wouldn't be captured. You land in a lake and bang your head on a rock. Today's chapter is in Cosmos's POV. (Point of View)

Chapter 3: Left Behind
I strain my neck to see where Sally fell. My heart fills with anger as Zander runs off in her direction. Dispite of everyone else's opinion, I don't think Sally is that bad. Everyone thinks she's stupid, but that's because of lost memory. I pull out binoculars and try to find Zander, who probably has Sally. Sure enough, Zander is running towards the city with Sally over his shoulder. I gulp down a gasp as I see her hair wet with water and blood. I feel a tug on the rope and look up to see Arch and Kelly lupping me in. Stuffing the binoculars into my bag, I climb up the rope.
Once inside, I slide down onto the floor, relieved that I'm alive and guilty that I abandoned a friend. "Where's Dumbo?" asks Kelly her voice sounding almost hopeful.
"She's been captured. She let go of the rope so I wouldn't get captured." I grunt not liking the gleam of happiness the flashed across her face.
Kelly quickly grows somber and says, "She'll tell everything!"
I am getting really annoyed with her. "She doesn't know anything to begin with! She told us that she had amnesia. Besides, we're not in the same place and what we showed her was nothing of military importance."
Arch places a hand on Kelly's shoulder. "Cosmos's right, but we have to leave quickly just in case."
I jump up shocked. "You mean we're just going to leave her behind? After what she did for me, I've got to get her out of GEM's clutches!"
Arch stares hard at me. "No. If she hadn't been there in the first place, we would still be safe. With all her screaming, I would be surprised if GEM didn't find us."
I glare at him. "She only screamed AFTER they found us. YOU were the one that yelled when we first came to the park."
Arch glares back. "She yelled when she went out looking for you." Kelly tries to smile sadly at me, but fails miserably. Her joy in seeing Sally gone is too evident.
"Arch's right, Cosmos." she says in a soft purring voice. "She nothing but trouble. Come on. I'll get you patched up." She steps closer to me and grips my arm. I shrug her off and walk away.
"Sally's the one who got shot. Not me." I storm down the halls and lock the metal sliding door to my room shut. I flop onto my bed and check what's on TV. The holographic screen shows the news in 3D. A reporter stands in front of GEM HQ.
"We're live from GEM HQ, where Commander Zander has just returned with a Ranger's Resistance member. The girl's identity is unknown for the moment, but we'll keep you posted. The girl is generously being treated and will be kindly asked to tell what she knows. This may be the RR's undoing. Could this be the end of the bandits reign of terror? Let's hope. Back to you Fred."
"We're still waiting for more imformation, but we do know that the girl was left behind by her supposed comrades. Commander said that she loyally protected the criminal Cosmos Strate from the Commander's laser. Cosmos, being the criminal he is, forces her to let go of the rope and sends her falling. It's obvious that the RR tricked this poor girl into joining them. Once this terrible menace is stopped, the U.S.A. can finally live in peace. We'll be right back."
I almost smash the remote in anger. I've seen all of this before. The twisted tales of the government. The lies fed to the people to hate us, the REAL good guys. This went much too far. Never had the GEM accused the RR of back stabbing our members. Loyalty is treasured in the organization. Now, they're even dragging innocents into the fray. I know now that Sally would be killed if she didn't speak. The way the news told the story makes it clear. The GEM are planning to use her to drag Ranger's Resistance's name through the mud. I know that rescuing Sally by myself would be suicide, but I just can't do nothing. "ARGH!" I yell and punch the wall. The news isn't lying. RR is leaving a member behind.

Myrtal Beach and Posting

Okay, first I'm quickly going to explain the posting. It's VERY simple. I'll be posting a verse today, a hymn tomorrow, a verse today, a hymn tomorrow. I'll alternate stories too. I've got two stories going on between my two blogs so I'll do this blog's story today. The other blog's story tomorrow. You get the idea.
The beach was very fun. Though I got like twenty small cuts on my arm and about ten on my leg from all the shells on the shore the first day. The next day, we went to a different section on the beach that didn't have as much shells. My brother John came as well as my many cousins: Kenny (Spelling cousin), Leon (John's favorite cousin), Peter (computer games cousin), Tracy (a Wii and DS cousin), Jessica (girly girl cousin), Alice (Jessica's bestfriend). I think I covered all my cousins. Oh, my third cousins came too. Steven and Austin are my third cousins from my dad's side of the family. Mark and Jeffory (hopefully I spelled his name right) are from my mom's. Yeah, a LOT of peope came to the beach. We played the DS, iPod, iPad, Wii, computer, swan, shopped, and had a HUGE pillow fight. My face was in pain when we're done. Kenny, who is a black belt in Tai Kwon Do, smacked me in the face several times with large pillows. My cousin Jessica just loves to attack Kenny. I was pushing her around in a tube thingy. I forget what they're called. Anway, everytime she got near Kenny, she'd scream and start splashing and slapping him. It was very funny in my eyes since Kenny's 14 years old and tall while Jessica's 4 and really thin. The vacation went by really fast. Leon and John went on and on about words beginning with z when we went to the mall. Mark and Jeffory barely talked to me except to help us in video games. They're the vide game experts in the family. Peter showed Kenny the game he's playing. He changes games every few weeks so it's hard to know want games he likes. Alice had to leave earlier than the rest of us, but she had fun. Austin and I raced in Mario Kart. I didn't see Steven much. Well, basically, we goofed around hte entire trip which is rare in our overacheiving family. It's a nice break, but once we got back I had to do math. Sigh, oh well.

Hello! Again! New Verse!

Alright! I'm back! I'll tell you about my trip later if I remember to. I thought about how busy I usually am and sorry but I'm doing a different posting schedule. I'm going to alternate between verse and hymn so I have more time for my personal Bible study and homework. I'm sorry if I sound kind of selfish, but I didn't get to do any Bible study at the beach and I'm feeling deprived of God's word.
Anyway, today's verse is I John 4:8. "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." The verse is saying that we have to love God and others in order to really know God. I have an uncle who isn't saved. Don't be surprised. There are Christian families that are split apart because of the different beliefs. Well, my uncle says that he's seen some "Christians" say one thing nad do another. They tell others to love each other but then go and bully someone. I told him that the person isn't a Christian. He doesn't truly know God, He's a hypocrite. I know that may seem a bit harsh to some, but it's the dead truth. Those people who make others follow God but don't themselves are no better than the Pharasees from the Bible. Jesus disapproved of them, and He would disapprove of you. You're just the modern version of the old sinners. Some would say, "Well, I'm new at this. I can't be perfect." You're right. You can't be perfect. You really can't. The flaw in your statement is that you're using you newness to the faith as an excuse. No matter how new you are, you should have that love for the gospel. I think that the newer Christians have a better understanding of the desire to be used by God. The longer you're a Christian, the more vulnerable to laziness you become. You slack in your Bible studies. You begin not to care as much. That's dangerous. Satan could strike, and you could end up in a pit of sin before you realize it. God's word is your armor. You should put it on DAILY. Not weekly. Not only at church. DAILY. Ask God for a yearning for His word and He'll give it to you. You can't make excuses so you don't have to love that annoying little brother, snobby little sister, or just plain gross cousin. You have no excuse if you're a child of God. You are to love your nieghbors, which is everybody, like how you would want to be loved. Trust me. God will greatly rewad you if you do this. If you persevere, there will be crowns of gold and silver waiting for you in heaven. Your Savior will great you. You will have a home made just for you by the Creator of the world. Don't think of the difficulty of the journey. Think of the happy, perfect, wonderful end of the race that we are running. The love of hte Father should shine through you. Don't ever keep your love from someone. Especially and lost soul.

Hello! Everyone! BIG NEWS!

HI! Alright, I'm going to the beach tomorrow, so I don't really want to post anything today. Sorry! I'm being lazy. It's a character trait of mine that doesn't seem to want to go away. I won't be posting at the beach either. It's just like the Washington D.C. trip. I won't post anything and when I get back everything's back to normal! I'm sorry for not telling you until the day before. Thanks so much for understanding! I'll be gone for about three to four days so it won't be as long as the Washington trip. See ya laters! :o)

Just in Time Chapter 2: Captured

Hi! Was the last chapter confusing? I hope it wasn't. I did my best. Today's chapter is still in your point of view but the next chpter's will be different so DON'T SKIP THIS INTRO SECTION! The next chapters are going to be different because what happens in this chapter. Alright, to the recap! Recap: You wake up in a shiny hallway in a great amount of pain. When the pain subsides, you find Cosmos and follow him. He drags you to his hoverboard and ou two esacpe the GEM. You get really sick and while Cosmos and his friends, Arch and Kelly are arguing. You fall unconscious. To the story!

Chapter 2: Captured
I groan softly. I hear a low humming noise that reminds me of Cosmos's hoverboard. Oh, no! Please, someone get me off this thing! I open my eyes slightly. Suprisingly, I don't feel pain. I have a bit of a headache, but it's minor. Cosmos turns to me and smirks. "So, Sleepy Beauty finally awakes." I pout and turn away. BAD idea. I see the ground far below us and feel dizzy again. I quickly look for anything else to look at and just look at my hands. "We're heading back to RR HQ." Cosmos tells me over the wind. I frown but say nothing. I see his friends Kelly and Arch hovering next to us. As we reach HQ, Arch leads Kelly into a room that has the words, "Infirmery" on it. I feel Cosmos shove me towards the room. "Come on. Are you always this slow?" I huff and stomp towards the door leaving Cosmos laughing behind me.
In the room, Kelly is getting her arm relocated. I look around. Computer screens are holographic, keyboards float, robots clean up the room, for some reason everything here seems so different from my home, where ever that is. The nurse, who isn't robotic, gives me a quick check up and says that I'm just suffering from fatigue. "Go get some rest in the guest rooms." I nod and do as she says. Sadly, I completely forgot to ask for directions and end up getting myself lost. I sigh, but I see Cosmos walking outside. Part of me says that I should follow him. The other half says that last time time I followed him, I fell unconscious. The first half wins the battle, and I run after him.
"Oi, Cosmos!" I shout. He spins around and clamps his hand over my mouth which I bite hard. He pulls his hands back a rubs the part where I bit him.
Glaring at me, he asks, "What are you doing? You need to rest."
I look down embarrassed. "I got lost." He rolls his eyes at me.
"Look, I just have to get my board, and then I'll show you the way." I grin my thanks, but as we're walking back a laser burns the tree we are next to.
"Hahahahahaha! I've got you now!" says the alien police man. Cosmos growls and tosses me his phone.
"Call Arch to get the ship started." I do as he asks as he yells onto the man. "You'll have to catch us frist Zander!" He drags me onto the board and zooms off. I'm determined not to scream and feel the familiar sense of nausia. As we fly off, a laser drills itself into my leg causing me to stumble. "Hold on, er, I can't believe I still don't know your name!" He asks annoyed. What is my name? Sam, Sully, I know!
"Sally! I'm Sally Maroles!" I say to him. He nods and continues to fly. Sadly, Zander is a good marksman. He blasts the engine of the hoverboard, and we begin to fall. I change my mind. I'm gonna scream. "AHHHHHHH!"
Cosmos grabs me and blasts a torpedo like thing with a cord tied to it. It sticks itself deep into the side of the HQ which is now flying. "How is a building flying?" I ask.
"It's actually a ship not a building!" he yells back. Suddenly, Zander takes out a huge gun like thingy and blasts the cord that's holding us. "Oh, great." Cosmos grumbles trying to stay calm, but I could see the panic in his eyes. A crazy, heroic idea pops into my brain. I can't believe I'm doing this. I mean I don't even know the guy.
"Cosmos! Would it hold you by yourself?" He nods. Check one. "Do you think they'll question me too? I mean I don't know where I was born much less what's going on here." He shakes his head know. Realization begins to come to him. I have to hurry. "Get inside!" I shouts before letting go of Cosmos, who had the cord tied around his waist. My visions blurs slightly, but I can still see Cosmos's horrified face as I fall towards earth. I leg stings badly so I won't be running. I landed in the lake and knock my head on a rock. Second time today. I think before everything goes black, again.

What's UP! It's Hymn Time!

Okay! Today's hymn is talking about how God took us to be His children just as we are. We didn't do anything. God did it. He cleansed us. He loves us that much. Today's hymn is "Just As I Am". Enjoy!

Just As I Am
1. Just as I am, without one plea,
but that thy blood was shed for me,
and that thou bidst me come to thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

2. Just as I am, and waiting not
to rid my soul of one dark blot,
to thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

3. Just as I am, though tossed about
with many a conflict, many a doubt,
 fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

4. Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
sight, riches, healing of the mind,
yea, all I need in thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

5. Just as I am, thou wilt receive,
 wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
 because thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

6. Just as I am, thy love unknown
 hath broken every barrier down;
now, to be thine, yea thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Have an awesome day!

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are You Ready for the New Verse?

Alright, my morning strated off with a visit to the dentist. Personally, I don't like people using sharp objects picking stuff ot of my mouth. I won't complain though since without them, I'd probably have a mouth full of cavities. Anyway, today's verse is II Corinthians 5:7. "For we walk by faith, not by sight:" This verse is reminding us that we are Chrstians through faith. We believe without seeing. A couple weeks ago I did the verse about how Jesus told Thomas that he should've believed without seeing Christ. Well, if you truly want to be a Chrstian, you need to believe without seeing. That is a main requiement. To have faith iin God's love, wisdom, and power. Have faith in what Jesus has done for you. Believe that Jesus, the Son of God, was born of a virgin. Believe that He lived life here on earth from a baby to an adult and not once did He sin. Believe that He died on the cross, a painful, shameful, death. Believe He rose again three days later. Believe that He is in heaven right now interceeding to taking our prayers to God for us. You need to believe your a sinner, and that you can't save yourself. Believe that you are unworthy of God's love, but He loves you anyway. That is how you get saved. You humble yourself and believe without seeing. You may think that your doing something by humbling yourself, but you have the Holy Spirit to thank for that. Without the Holy Spirit, you wouldn't even think about praying. You may not even know what praying is! God didn't everything. We didn't save ourselves. It was God's gift that saved us. It was the faith that He gave us that saved us. It was Jesus, the Son of God, who was the sacrifice that saved us. It's all God's doing. We couldn't and  wouldn't do anything without God's help. We coldn't even breathe without His help. We have to believe that by faith. Can we see God? No. Can we see fire coming from heaven? Hope. Can we see Jesus? Nada. We can't see proof. We can only believe. Will you?

Just in Time Chapter 1: The Chase

Hey! Alright, this is the new story. Again I would like to remind you that I'm trying a new story format so bear with me. Every new chapter I'll tell you what point of view that the story is typed in. Today's chapter is in your point of view. Again, I'm sorry guys, but the character is a girl. Oh, the name and looks have alread y been chosen. Don't read the snippet I wrote earlier. It is VERY confusing. I'm doing the story in a different format. Alright, let's go!

Chapter 1: The Chase
Ow. Everything hurts. I groan and slowly open my eyes. Why am I here? Where am I? Why can't I remember anything? I slowly got up and grab the silvery walls for support. I glance down at my clothes. I sigh with relief for a reason I'm not sure of. I wince slightly and limp down the hall. I glance around. Everything's so new, so shiny, so metalic. I glance at the windows only to see that they were mirrors. The people inside could see out, but the people outside couldn't see in. After a few minutes of limping, the pain sudsides for a while. Just then, I hear shouts and running feet. My throat dries up, and I look around frantically for a place to hide. A boy with black hair runs past me. He looks nice enough. I take a deep breath and begin running after him. "Excuse me, mister." I ask timidly. He glances over his shoulder at me and his green eyes looks questioningly at me. I duck my head from his gaze. "Can you tell me what's going on? And your name?"
He sighs and quickly says, "Cosmos Strate, escaping from GEM." I am confused. As if reading my mind he replies before I could ask my next question. "No time explain. Why are you following me?" I look away.
"I'm lost and confused." I try to elaborate but shouts from behind us stop me. I glance fearfully over my shoulder and see three men wearing green and silver suits that reminds me of the clothes worn by cartoon martians. I almost giggle but the men start blasting lasers at us. My body screams in protest as Cosmos makes me speed up. A laser whizzes right above his head. I couldn't help but giggle. He frowns at me. "Quit giggling! I don't even know why your here. You've just made yourself a target of the GEM."
I sigh. "The space dudes?"
Now it was his turn to chuckle. "Yes, the space dudes." One of the men shouts to Cosmos to stop but he yells no thanks and jumps out a window pulling me with him. We land on a hoverboard that is under the window. Cosmos pushes a button with his foot and his feet gets strapped onto the contraption. Smashing a helmet onto my head, he presses another button with his other foot and we begin flying off. Did I mention I have a really BIG fear of heights? I scream my head off as we flying at an atonishing speed above the town. "Quit screaming!" he shouts at me over the wind.
I manage to clamp my mouth shut and hold on tight. As we fly through town, a group of men who look like police officers from space chase us on hovercars.
"Cosmos Strate, get off your hoverboard with your hands up. Place the strange looking girl down too."
"I'm NOT strange!" I say pouting as we continue to fly through the streets. Cosmos doesn't pay attention to the comment and looks at a boy and a girl on similar hoverboards. The boy make an A with his hands and Cosmos nods. He grins at me.
"Hold on tight." I gulp and conply just as he goes even faster. I didn't even know there is a faster! We past a store that says Feed Mart. Turning abruptly left then up we begin flying up the building's walls. The police cars can't fly like a hoverbaord can so we lose the pursuers. Cosmos spin around a thing that looks relatively like a water tower. I feel like I'm going to lose my lunch. I don't even remember I had lunch! Suddenly, we nose drive towards a park. It takes all the will power in me to not scream. As we slow to a stop, I see the boy and the girl from earlier. The boy looks SUPER mad.
"What were you thinking? Rescuing Kelly was dangerous enough, but you had to pick up another girl!" Cosmos shrugs and unstraps himself from the hoverboard as I got down dizzily. My body is still in pain from the running, and that ride give me a migrain. The world starts spinning as the boy, Cosmos calls him Arch, demands an explanation.
"I don't know her. She just followed me." Cosmos says. Aw, great. Everything's fuzzy and the voices are all blurry. I land flat on my back as the migrain and pain become too much. "Hey, get up. Come on. You can't be that sick." Cosmos says frowning at my weakness. I scowl at him but still can't get up.
"She could be really wimpy." says the girl named Kelly.
"Or she could've been sick before Cosmos got her." Arch says. I like his suggestion better.
"I didn't know amesia had side effects like this." I mumble aloud, my voice beginning to slur.
"Amesia?" Cosmos asks shocked. He tries to ask me another question but I don't hear him. He shakes me, which doesn't help. I try to stay awake but I couldn't and fall conscious.

Hát với tôi! Sing with me!

Hey! It's me! I desided to make my titles Vietnamese today. Today's hymn is about how powerful and great our God is. He made the worlds and He can do anything. He knows all and controls all, but He has given us a free will. I don't understand it, but that's because my brain is finite. God chooses not to reveal everything to us. We just have to have faith. The hymn for today is "How Great Thou Art". Enjoy!

How Great Thou Art
Stanza 1:
O Lord my God,
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all
The works Thy Hand hath made,
I see the stars,
I hear the mighty thunder,
Thy pow'r throughout
The universe displayed.
Stanza 2:
When through the woods
And forest glades I wander
I hear the birds
Sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook
And feel the gentle breeze;
Refrain:
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!
Stanza 3:
When Christ shall come,
With shouts of acclamation,
And take me home,
What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow
In humble adoration
And there proclaim,
"My God, how great Thou art!"
Refrain:
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art!
How great Thou art!

Have an awesome day!

Good Morning! It's time for the New Verse!

Hi! What's up everyone! It's about 10:05 where I live and I hope you are awake by then. I just don't understand how people can sleep past 9:00. I can't sleep past then. I can't. Anyway, today's verse is Psalm 102:25. "Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands." This verse is saying that God made the earth, and the skies are the result of His work. We live in a world where God is constantly being pushed out of the picture. Evolution, atheism, and beliefs like them want to believe that there isn't a god. I know that all of this makes sense to those who are raised in homes that believe in the evolution theory. I go to BJA, which is a Christian school. I've been taught about Creation and how God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. People who were taught differently think we're nuts. I think that our beliefs and theirs beliefs require the same amount of faith, believing without seeing. Some say that the Christians can't do science because they test everything they find with the Bible. In science, you have a "skeleton" that is made of facts that you believe are completely true. Then, you find the "flesh and skin" which is the new imformation about the subjects in the skeleton. If the "flesh and skin" doesn't match, the scientist's immedately thinks that he made a mistake because his faith in the "skeleton" is too strong to say that the "skeleton" is wrong. Christians and evolutionists alike all have a skeleon that they believe is true. We believe the Bible has all the facts we need. The evolutionists have their many theories. We all have that faith in what we believe happened at Creation or for evolutionists the Big Bang. I believe God is great and that He made the entire world out of nothing. THe verse that we're looking at says that from the old which is the beginning of time, God set the foundations of earth. God has always been and always will be. He set the foundations for this earth and made the skies ony a couple THOUSAND years ago. He will in the future, tears the foundations and the skies apart and creat a new perfect world where He will dwell with His children. That's my skeleton. The Bible is a history book, a science book, and a guide for the Christian life. Worldly things will crumpled and be destroyed, but God's word will NEVER be destroyed.

HELLO! It's Today's Hymn!

HI!!!!!!!!!!!! Today's hymn is talking about how we should be ready to serve God anywhere and everywhere we go. It's hard to be ready when your not sure what to do. We shold read God's word and pray. God'll show us where He wants us to go. We need to set the weights, our sins, aside. We need to do our best for God. This hymn is "I'll Run the Race". Are you going to run it well?

I'll Run the Race
1. The date is set; the time is come; the witnesses arrive.
The course is marked; the men prepared; all the weights set aside.
Positions are assumed and taken, energies now reawaken;
Empty thoughts are all forsaken. I must win the prize.
            (Chorus)
I'll run this race with patience.
I'll run this race with joy.
I'll fix my eyes on Jesus' face,
the One who saved me by His matchless grace.
2. My course is set; my God designed it all for HIs cause.
I will not live for selfish gain or die for man's applause.
My Savior, Love, my Passion, King, His ev'ry blessed Word I'll cling.
To Him, His ev'ry wish I'll bring, till Jesus calls my home.
            (Chorus)

Have an awesome day!

HI HI! It's Time for the Verse!

Hello! I just wanted to say, er, type that I'm here to help and spread God's word. If you have anything you want to ask, and I mean ANYTHING, just comment or, if it's something you don't want others to know about email me. Of course I'm not asking you to tell me about SUPER personaly things. I just what to help. If you ust need someone to tyep to, I could do that. Just remember that I'm not a faceless girl that is really weird. I'm a person, though I've got to admit that I can be pretty strange, just ask my buddies Monkey (nickname) or AJ (initials). Anyway, enough with random babbling. Today's verse is Luke 2:52. "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." The verse is talking about Jesus growing up. We don't know anything about Jesus' life between the ages of twelve to about thirty. This verse tells us what Jesus did in that time frame. Let's look at them one at a time. The first is wisdom. Jesus grew in wisdom. This one is rather simple. Jesus got smarter. He learned more. He learned from his earthly father how to be a carpenter. He learned about more things as He grows up. He learned like us. We go to school to learn. Jesus learned and He's God. We should learn as well. I know, ugh. So boring. God has put us in the school we're in for a reason. We have to do His will and do our best in school. The next thing that Jesus grew in was stature. That's ever easier to explain. He grew taller. He grew more mature. We all grow though sadly my growth is VERY slow. I'm so short! Oh well. My entire family's short with te exception of a few uncles. We grow in height, weight, and other things. Jesus grew stronger from all the work as a carpenter's son. He grew up to become a man. We grow as we do sports. We should do our best in that too. The next thing Christ grew in favour with God. He grew spiritually. He grew in the gospel. He only had the Old Testament, the Torah, to study from, but He grew closer to his heavenly Father. We have the entire Bible in our hands. We should read it everyday. If we don't, we don't have much of a chance to grow in the gospel. How do you grow in something that you barely spend reading? The last thing Jesus grew in was favour with man. Jesus was a social kid. He had friends. He was nice. People got along with Him. We should be like that too. How are we going to reach others for Christ if we're sitting in our room playing video games or if we barely talk to anyone. How are we going to show Christ if we always agrue? We need to be a person that people get along with. We can't get along with kids and not adults. We need to be able to tell others, not matter what the age, religion, gender, or race. Jesus didn't grow in these things one by one. He grew in all of them at the same time. We can't be exactly like Jesus, but we can always try.

Hey! New Story info

Alright. Te new story this time will be a futuristic mystery. I'm going to take a little break for today and tormorrow, but on Wednesday I'll put up the first chapter. The story's format is a bit odd so I'll explain it to you. You are a character. It's not like the OC characters. The main character in the story, will be revealed later on, talks to you, but instead of having you answer, the character will respond and that'll give you an idea of what you would say. Sorry male readers. The character's a girl. You're names has been chosen. I know I could put a name blank, but then I'll forget to put it and begin to type a random name in the blank or put my own name in it. Just in case you didn't realize it, I have BAD memory. If you're confused, don't worry. Below, I've up some example sentences to read. (Not from story. Random sentences.)

(Someone talks to you and you answer.)
1. "Who are you anyway?" You're snapped out of your stunned daze and answer him. "Oh, Sally's your name and you're from Dallas."
2. "Hold on tight!" he said laughing at you're frightened face. "What was that? You're gonna be sick? Hah!"
(You doing something with another character.)
1. Josh (old character from previous story) grabs your arm and drags you far away from the warehouse. You try to keep up with his sprint but are too tired.

That's really it. Oh, and I'm going to try something different with the chapters for this story. The beginning will be in you're point of view, but later in the story, because of a certain event, I'll switch back and forth between you're point of view and the main character's. I wrote the snippet of this stor in the main character's point of view and had you answering without words. Let's just say it was really confusing. So, I'm changing the format. Thanks for readnig the notice.

What's Up! Hey Everyone! It's the Hymn for Today!

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alright, today's hymn is "Thank You, Lord." Those words aren't said as often as they should. I'm guilty of being ungrateful too. All of us are, but we can always try to be more thankful than we are now. Enjoy!

Thank You, Lord

1. Some thank the Lord for friends and home
For mercies sure and sweet
But I would praise Him for his grace
In prayer I would repeat
      Refrain:
Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free
2. Some thank Him for the flow’rs that grow
Some for the stars that shine
My heart is filled with joy and praise
Because I know He’s mine
3. I trust in Him from day to day
I prove His saving grace
I’ll sing this song of praise to Him
Until I see His face

Have an awesome day peoples! :o)

Hey, Hi, Hello! It's Time for the Verse!

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!! Heh, I kinda went overboard with the exclamation points. Anyway, if you what anything, a different story, advice, a change in format, a certain verse to study, a certain topic to talk about, whatever, just ask. I'm open to suggestions, maybe too open at times but oh well. So don't be afraid to comment! I enjoy reading the comments. :o) Anyway, today's verse is Luke 18:18. (The numbers were accidental. I was looking up the verse and I didn't realize the coincidence.) "There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger." This is Jesus speaking. In the passage, Jesus and his disciples come across a group of lepers (people with leprosy) sitting at the gates of a village on the road to Jerusalem. The lepers cried our to Him because they knew He could heal them. Jesus told them to show themselves tothe priests. So the ten lepers walked to the tabernacle to visit the priests. As they walked, they were healed. Nine of the lepers were Jews, God's chosen people. One was a Samaritan, a person witha Jewish parents and a non-Jewish parent. Samaritans and Jews didn't get along. So it was shocking when the only person that went back to Jesus, a Jew, and thanked Him was the Samaritan. That's when Jesus says the verse that we're studying today. "There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger" He knows that the other men were ungrateful of hte gift of healing. Only this Samaritan was grateful. He tells His disciples that no one came back to give glory to God for the healing except the stranger, the non-Jew. Even though most Samaritans have some Jewish blood in them, they are considered strangers to the Jews. Jesus later says to the man to go home because his faith has made him whole. Now, how does this apply to us today? Well, you know how people call other people names like dumbo, idiot, stupid, and a lot of other names I don't think is appropriate to type here. Well, I think one of the worst names you can call someone is ungrateful. I mean, it doesn't sound like much but if you think about it, it really is a very bad character trait. Those men were ungrateful. They didn't appreciate the gift that was given to them. What about you? You've got talents. Do you take them for granted and show off? Or do you use them to bring God glory. Let's go a bit deeper. What about your school? I know there are some Christians who are reading this. Are you thankful for the Christian school you can go to? Or are you hating the place because of the dress code or the strict rules. Those rules are there to help you grow in the gospel and to protect you from temptations. You should be grateful at least. Now, I'm going to get a bit personal about the next one. What about your family? Are you thankful for that kind mother that went through perhaps hours of pain when she gave birth to you? Are you thankful for that father who supplies for you and protected you when you were a defensless baby? Are you thankful, Christians around the world, for the many, many, prayers that were prayed by your parents every night for you? You Christians for Christian homes are blessed beyond compare. There are Christians that are suffering because of their beliefs and thier parents. They can't go to a nice church. They might not have mre than one Bible. They might not go t a Christian school. There are a lot of things to be grateful for. To think that you make fun of the dad that took care of you and helped you walk the Christian walk just to get some laughs with your friends is saddening. Do you not know that there are people in the world who don't have Christian parents like you do? If you do know that, why do you mock them? Call them "uncool". Why do you push away the two people who should be the closest to you? If you're ashamed of your parents, you're ashamed of your Savior. Think. Why are you doing what you are doing? It doesn't take much work to be an ungrateful brat even if you don't realize it.

Hey, Hey, Hey! It's the New Hymn!

Hi! Did you read the verse? It has a VERY IMPORTANT notice on it. I sugest you read it. Anyway, Today's hymn goes with the idea to trusting God and folowing Him anywhere and everywhere. Can you do that? Do you trust God to provide for you if your far away from home? Today's hymn is "Here Am I". I hope you like it. Enjoy!

Here Am I
1. Master, you call me,
I gladly obey;
Only direct me
And I’ll find the way.
Teach me the mission
Appointed for me,
What is my labor
And where it shall be.
(Chorus)
Master, you call me,
And this I reply,
“Ready and willing, Lord,
Here am I.”

2. Willing, my Savior,
To take up the cross;
Willing to suffer
Rejection and loss.
Willing to follow
If you will but lead;
Only support me
With grace in my need.

3. Pardon whenever
I turn from the night.
Pity, and bring me
Again to the light.
Living or dying,
I rest in your love,
Until that moment
I see you above.

Master, you call me,
And this I reply
“Ready and willing, Lord,
Here am I,
Lord, here am I.”

Have a nice day!

Hey! It's the Verse!

Hi! I'm so sorry! I've got a different posting schedule now and I completely forgot to tell you guys about it. On Saturdays and sometimes Sundays I won't be posting. I sometimes have guest over on Sunday. And on Saturday, I'm not home. I tried posting outside of home but it got complicated since I have everything on the computer nad laptop at my house. The posting for the short stores is a bit different too. I'll only be posting chapters on the weekdays when I have time and I'm at home without guests to attend to. Anyway, today's verse is Mark 4:40. "And he said unto them, Why are ys so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?" This is Jesus speaking to his disciples when they are in a boat on the sea. The disciples were afraid because a massive storm has arisen and they are in a little fishing boat. They wake up Jesus who was sleeping at the time and asked Him if they're going to die. Jesus stands up and says "Peace be still." The storm ceased immediately. Jesus demonstrated His control over nature when He did that. He then turned to them and asked them why were they so scared? Do them have no faith. Everytime you worry about something, you're showing your lack of faith in God's ability to protect you, to provide for you, or to keep His promises. Whether it's on of those or another doubt, the result is the same. Sin comes when you worry over the litle or big things. You should be able to place all your cares all your trust in God's mighty hand. You should trust your Savior so much that if God asked you to go and bring the gospel to a cannibal tribe in some remote area of Africa or South America or New Zealand or some other place, you'd do it. You should be able to say when you're dieing or in pain that God's going to take you home. Have your trust in God firmly planted on the promises in the Scriptures so when Satan comes to tempt you, you can protect yourself. Calm down and do be hasty. Wait on your Savior to do His will. Have faith in your God. God is a personal God that hears all the prayers of His children. You don't need to worry about God not hearing you. He will hear, but He'll respond with a yes, no, or wait. He won't always give you what you want. Remember to keep your faith because God hasn't broken a promise yet, and He won't break any promises anytime soon.

Freedom at Last Epilogue

I can't believe Artemis died! Actually, I planned for it to happen so...ignore the sentence. Anyway, how's the pics. Are they waht you thought the characters looked like? The characters aren't wearing that clothes in the pics. I couldn't find good pics of medival people that looked like the characters of the story. Oh well. I did my best. Sorry if it's a bit of a disappointment. On to the epilogue!

Epilogue
King James and his advisor Zero stands in front of a large white tomestone.
Artemis Trelanf
A great NightHunter, a greater friend
Zero places a bouquet of lilies, his former apprentice's favorite flower, on the ground next to the grave. It's been a year and a half since she died and the country is prospering. James stares at the grave. How could anyone not respect her? She gave up everything to save the kingdom. She left her power crazed brother behind and became the first female NightHunter.
Zero told him that she had been adopted into the family. Her first family were slaughtered by the bandits from Sarda. After that, they burned the house to the ground with the bodies still inside. Artemis had fled through a small window and witnessed the whole thing. She, being only seven, cried in the bushes until Mrs. Titews found her. Out of the power crazed family, Mrs. Titews wasn't like her husband or her son. She took good care of Artemis but was killed when she oppsed her husband's rebellion against the king. Artemis couldn't object because she was dragged by Ravew to the training ground and used as a training dummy. She ran away when her father was killed and Ravew was in a fit of rage. Zero had found her scared and bleeding from the abuse from Ravew. He took her in and she always tried to make others happy ever since. She said that she didn't want anyone to be sorrowful. She wanted others to feel the love that she was deprived of as a child.
James gently places his own bouquet of lillies on the grave. "Thanks to you, freedom is here. Artemis, you've impacted people, especially girls, throughout this country. Thank you, my friend for your advice and your smile. Good-bye, Artemis."

Make Way for the New Verse!

HI! I'M HAPPY TODAY! I don't know why I get hyper all of a sudden. Sometimes it's when something good happens. Sometimes it's to cheer someone up by a encouraging comment or a playful tease. Sometimes I'm just happy for what God has done. Today I'm happy because I'm a child of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The hymn today's talks about how we're children of the King. Today's hymn is "Child of the King". I hope you like it!

Child of the King
1. My Father is rich in houses and lands,
He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands!
Of rubies and diamonds, of silver and gold,
His coffers are full, He has riches untold.
       (Refrain)
I'm a child of the King,
      A child of the King:
      With Jesus my Savior,
I'm a child of the King.
2. My Father's own Son, the Savior of men,
Once wandered on earth as the poorest of them;
But now He is pleading our pardon on high,
That we may be His when He comes by and by.
(Refrain)
3. I once was an outcast stranger on earth,
A sinner by choice, an alien by birth,
But I've been adopted, my name's written down,
An heir to a mansion, a robe and a crown.
(Refrain)
4. A tent or a cottage, why should I care?
They're building a palace for me over there;
Though exiled from home, yet still may I sing:
All glory to God, I'm a child of the King.
(Refrain)

Have a fantastical day ladies and gents!

Hey, How's It Going? It's Time for the Verse!

Hey! So, do you have an answer to my question? Well, you can tell me with you want you. I also wanted to ask why you don't take the polls of anything like that, but it's fine if you don't. I'm not forcing you. I live in a free country so, no forcing people to do stuff. I won't beg and make you feel bad either. Anyway, today's vere is I Corinthians 15:2. "By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain." This verse is saying that once your saved, you can't just say, "Yes! Now, I'm going to heaven. Well, I'm not the preaching person I'll just pray." You can't just sit back and let all the other Christians do all your work for you. There are people who you have access to, but other Christians won't have that. You need to witness. You can't just do nothing. When you're saved, you should want to serve God anyway you can. If you don't feel like doing anything outside of church, I would be wondering if you're truely a child of God. James 2 says that we should want to show our love for our Savior. The salvation we received through FAITH should show itself through the WORKS you do to win others to Christ. If you don't, you're believing in vain. You keep the happiness and desire to serve God in your mind. You should remember how happy you were when you just got saved. Satan will try to get you to stop witnessing to become lax and uncaring about what you believe. DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!  He's just trying to keep his hold on the losts souls all over the world. If he begins telling you that you can't do anything or that you don't need to d anything, do what Jesus did and quote Scripture or parts of it. What I do is think of pieces and themes in the Bible that prove what Satan is saying is wrong. It helps when you feel that tempting prodding of the devil. You can't forget the way of salvation. That's what you need to tell others. You need to tell them what God has done in your life. How can you be an effective witness if the word of God goes in one ear and come sout the other? You need to pay attention and don't forget wht God has taught you that day through other Christians or His word. Don't live in vain belief. Live what you believe. Act and talk the way that would tell others you're a child of the King.

Freedom at Last Chapter 7: Freedom's Price

Hey! Tomorrow's chapter isn't really a chapter. It's more of a short epilogue of what happens years later. I am putting up the pics of characters after this. Today's the grand finale. It's has a different ending. Read and find out. Recap: James and Zero were about Artemis's successful siege and the qualities of a NightHunter. Zero mentioned the hidden passageways underneath the castle. Artemis then comes to gring the news. Castle Torienaw is in sight. To the final chapter!

Chapter 7: Freedom's Price
Ravew paces angrily. How dare those lords defy him. His lineage deserves the throne, not the weak Armonts. He scoffs and kicks a nearby officer. "Get forces to that fort. NOW!" The officers staggers down the hall, clutching his stomach. Little did Ravew kew,  James had called for reinforcments from Gorwen before he left. One of the NightHunters named, Gordon, had ridden on Strike, the fastest horse in the NightHunters, to Gorwen and is now riding back with reinforcments. By the time Ravew's men got there, they would be met by a army a trained Gorwen knights and be obliterated.
While Ravew is taking his time abusing his men, James is jogging lightly underneath the castle. Zero leads the army through the twists and turns. Artemis and a few other NightHunters found out yesterday that a large chunk of the defending army was willing to help fight. Artemis, Keith, Jordan, and Stephan are getting that chunk into place. Zero raises a hand and motions upwards. "This leads to the throne room. Artemis has infliterated Ravew's maids and says that he is in the room abusing his men. We need to have him move into a room nearby so we can get out of this tunnel without getting crowded by Ravew's loyal men." James nods understanding. A sinking feeling in his gut tells him that something's going to go wrong. He shrugs it off and adjusts his shield. Grunts and shouts rumble above. A quiet settles and a shuffle of feet begin walking out the southern exit of the throne room. Zero slowly leads them to the hidden door. After five minutes of silence, Zero slides the door out of the way.
Ravew is fuming. A loud crash sounds from outside of room. He and his men come out to see that pesty female NightHunter, Artemis. That girl has gotten under his skin more times than he has fingers and toes to count. She has her hood knocked off and is pouting. Ravew grins at her. "Oh, look what has happened. I win Artemis. You can't beat your older brother."
James freezes. He stands next to the large doors listening. "No way!" he whispers hoarsly. Zero clamps a hand on his mouth. "I know it's suprising, but we have to be quiet." James nods slowly.
Ravew's voice rings through the door. "Time to behead you." Zero nods once and the army gets ready to charge. A man shouts that an army has been spotted to the east. There are villagers to the west lauching smoke and fire bombs slings and catapults. Ravew growls and the hidden army streams out of the throne room. "What!" the evil king roars. He turns to face a boy. A boy who looks just like the man he murdered 15 years ago. "How?"
James glares at the man in front of him. Artemis is already hacking her way through the crowd. "This is my family's throne Ravew, and I plan to take it back. There were shouts coming from the courtyard. Ravew glances out to see some of his own men wrecking the yards and causing mass confusion for the defenders fighting the army outside. "It's over, Ravew." Ravew screams with rage and lunges at him. The strength behind the blow jars James shield arm. He jumps back and shrugs his shoulder trying to fight back the numb feeling. Ravew smirks and begins to slice and hack at James' shield. As another numbing blown crashes down on his shield, James let's the shield go and Ravew pulls his sword which flings the shield at him. Ducking from the shield, he gets a wound to the stomach by James. Ravew straggers into his army lines and three other men run up to engage James in battle. After stabbing the first in the gut and twisting his sword free, James turns to his second attacker not seeing the third behind him. As the second attacker fell, James feels blood splash against his neck. Turning around, his throat grows dry. Artemis stands two feet away from him with the third Black Rider's spear embedded into her chest. Straggering backwards, she falls to her knees. James cuts the surprised assainant across the neck and turns to Ravew as he charges to him. As he struggles to keep his sword in his hand, Ravew delivers a shattering blow, literally. James sword shatters a foot from the hilt. He jumps back from the hissing blade and looks around desperately from another weapon. A sword slides on his feet. Picking it up, he does a series of forehand, backhand, and thrusts that are even faster than the ones Ravew had done. At a sudden change in the swing, Ravew exposes his chest slightly. The gap is small but it is enough for James to deliver the killing blow. Turning to his fallen companion, James tries to think of a way to stop the bleeding. Artemis opens her blue and croaks, "Freedom at last," before going limp. James stares sadly at his friend. Only then did he see her empty scabbard which fits the blade that he holds. He places her sword back into her hand. "Thank you, Artemis."

It's the New Hymn! Isn't It?

Yep! New hymn is here. I'm glad I get the oportunity to type all this stuff, and thank you sooooo much for looking at it. I'm sure that it isn't very good. Thank you for looking anyway. Today's verse is about enduring life and waiting on God for His timing and plan. I used to know this guy who was a great example of that. He passed away in May of this year. He was a Christian waiting for his Father to take him home. He died from cancer just a few days before the school year ended. He sang this song a few days before his death. "Be Still My Soul" is the hymn today. I could never be as close to God as he was, but I will try my best to follow his example. A kind and happy person to the end. Enjoy.

Be Still My Soul
1. Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
2. Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.
3. Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
From His own fulness all He takes away.
4. Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

Have a great day!

How It Going? It's the New Verse!

Hey! Having a nice summer? Today's is Ecclesiates 3:1. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" This is reminding the more impatient Christians that God has everything in order. You can't just go barging into the White House and demand the President to resign so you can put a Christian leader in his place. That won't work. God has a plan for everything. He knows how we're going to do our jobs as adults. He knows how we're going to grieve when we have that relative pass away. He knows how we're going to jumping up and down squealing when we win a competition or a really cool new phone. He knows everything that is going to happen, and it's going to happen as He planned. We can't change the sequence of events God has laid out for the future. We can't know what God is planning so...DON'T TRY! Sigh, please don't. It's embarrassing. God won't let a man take credit for "predicting" when He is going to come back. He'll come back at a time and date that He has planned. We have lives that we think have no order. Nothing is random. God made us do that or say this or think that because that's part of His plan. He planned for us to mourn, but if we stay faithful, He has a time for us to laugh. He has a time for children to be born and a time for others to die. He has times where you can gain and where you can lose. The verse after this one give an entire list of things that God has a certain time for. the verse afterwards asks, "What can you get from working at a time God doesn't want you to?" The answer is nothing. You can get nothing from disobeying God except punishment. He is your Savior, your Commander in the battle to save souls, your Prince that will rule the world, and your Best Friend. If your down, just pray. It helps. I broke down after a personal issue and after praying I felt better, but then Satan desided to strike me with doubt about God's goodness. I prayed again and God kept Satan away from me that night. I'm glad. I've felt Him keep my mouth shut. I really wanted to ask my mom a question, but God didn't want me to, so the only thing I could get out of my throat was, "Mmmm". I tried to say "Mom" but it wasn't God's will. If you submit, you'll feel God's presence. You'll feel His gentle prodding or sometimes a sudden realization of a flaw that needs to be fixed. I have more of the second choice than the first since I have a tendency to shove the prodding aside. You may be different, but trust me. More importantly, trust God. He'll help you in ways you never thought He would. There is a time for everything. There is a time for you to submit. Is it your time to give God your life?

Freedom at Last Chapter 6: The Journey's End

HI! THIS ISN'T THE LAST CHAPTER! You'll understand why I made it this title as you read. There are two more chapter after this one, so basically 9 chapters total. Anyway, to the recap! Recap: Last time, James and his army stormed Fortress Avendwell. Using boast from the villagers, Lord Arhowld lead the destraction group to the western side of the fort. As the archers, Artemis included, picked off the defenders along the top of the wall, Lord Arhowld went berserk, complimentary of his Sardan lineage. James, after leading his army to the real attack location, went with Artemis after the boss. After a battle against the cowardly boss, James and Artemis run to help with the remaining soldiers. To the journey!

Chapter 6: The Journey's End
James groans sleepily. The journey to Castle Torienaw is at it's last stretch. He glances around at him. Their numbers had reduced during the battle of Avendwell, but the soldiers at the fortress weren't all loyal to King Ravew. The numbers they lost had been replenished by the new recruits. Zero rode up next to him. "What do you think we should do Zero?" James asks turning to the tall NightHunter.
Zero is silent for a few second before speaking. "Castle Torienaw is built to withstand long siege. It has secret passage ways only known to those who built it, the royal family, and the NightHunters."
James raises his eyebrow, an action that he'd been doing since he was young. "Why the NightHunters?"
Zero mimicks him but where the questioning look is a sarcastic look replaces it. "We are a tight-lipped group. If you weren't the rightful king, you wouldn't even know what NightHunters do."
James chuckles lightly. "Sorry to offend you."
Zero nods. "You could learn a lot from us. Accuracy, surprise, adapting." James motions him to continue. "If you're strong, but can't it your enemy, then all that strength is useless. If you're up against an enemy that is stronger and greater in number than you, you need to catch them off guard and surprise them, otherwise you'd be dead. Adapting is something that Artemis and I do often on our heroic expeditions. I told you how Artemis sieged Avendwell. She actually used firebombs that were infused with color. As they blew up, the enemy was distracted, Artemis came charging down the hill with fourty rabid dessert Sardans. She found them captive on a ship off the coast. The vessel wasn't supposed to be raiding in our waters because of a treaty made by moi. On it was a group of Sardan soldiers. Artemis never found out why they were on the ship, but they were excited to siege a fortress. They always like a good fight."
"Like Lord Arhowld." James mumbles softly before chuckling.
Zero nods. "But twice as bad since these are pureblooded Sardans. Anyway, Artemis's men each had a tube like horn that distorted they cries. It create an eery effect. Of course, these men were from the nearby fishing village we visited. Long, bloddy story short, Artemis won."
James nods "Adaption, surprise, and accuracy in shooting. That mission had it all."
Zero shrugs. "It is one of the tests in NightHunter training now. Except with a few variations."
"Artemis must hate the attention."
"She hates it with a vengence. She says that all the bowing and titles make her antsy." Zero says sighing. "Speaking of Artemis..."
James looks up as the black haired NightHunter rides up to them. "James, Zero, Castle Torienaw is in sight."

Hey, Hey, Hey! It's the Hymn!

I can just hear Kenny saying, "Hay for horses. Seesh! Get it right Annie!" Oh well. we never really argue. Tease, that's a big yes, but argue, rarely. We're too much alike. Anyway, today's hymn goes with the idea of wantig God to clean our hearts so we can effectively witness to others. It's our responsibility. The hymn is "Create in Me a Clean Heart". Enjoy!

Create in Me a Clean Heart
1. I came to the Lord with my heart full of sin,
Empty of purpose and troubled within.
My fleash had the vict'ry,
My heart sought release;
Lord, wilt Thou chleanse me and grant me Thy peace?
     (Chorus)
     Create in me a clean heart, my Father;
Renew a right spirit in me.
     Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation;
May Christ be seen in me.

He granted cleasing and sins fell away.
My bondage was ended,
My heart was set free;
Lord, nevermore may I wander from Thee.

Hiyas Everybody! Daily Verse!

Hello! :) How's everyone doing? Are you having a good summer? Arlight, I'll stop interrogating you. Today's verse is Philippians 1:27. "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" This verse is saying that we should talk about things that is righteous. We should talk about our Savior or things that Christ would talk about if He were here. Even if there isn't an adult Christian around to watch you, God sees what you do. He knows what you think. This verse may say conversation, but your thoughts should be pleasing to God as well. If we don't care and talk and think badly, God could allow our parents to find out and that won't be good. on sin is hidden from God. He'll judge His children out of sadness because of their sins. He will judge the wicked anger. He knows all. Don't try to hide something from Him. We need to stand fast. We need to stay firm in our faith in God's word. We can't stumble or the wicked will mock us and make things more difficult to each lost souls. The wicked are all around, ready to pounce at the first stumbling Christian and pull him down. We must encourage other Christians to stay close to the word. The wicked might pull us down, but God won't abandon us. We're still His children. We just need to come back to Him. We must be one with other Christians. We can't argue and bicker with our brothers and sisters in Christ. All of us have a common goal, to spread God's word and to each lost souls. We all believe in the same Bible. We all know the story of Christ and we're all one in Him. Why do we argue? It's because we still ahve that sin nature that wants to take over. Don't let it. Settle the arguements, misundestandings, fights, etc. We must stand firm in one faith and one mind that knows that Christ is coming back and the world needs to know what Christ has done and what He will do. Will you take up your responsibility to spread the word? Will you try to think and say things that are pleasing to God? I hope so, Brother or Sister. I hope so.

Freedom at Last Chapter 5: Fortress Avendwell

Hi! Sorry about last chapter being all talking. I just needed to put in some advice in there. Anyway, I'm thinking about putting 8 chapters in this story, get or take one. Alright, I made this one a bit more exciting. Recap: James is traveling with the army getting closer to Avendwell. He gets advice from Lord Arhowld, his father's advisor and Lord of a nearby providence. Finding out that Zero is the nations hero, James gets advice from his former apprentice, Artemis. After telling the layout of the fort, Artemis gives him last advice before they get ready for battle.

Chapter 5: Fortress Avendwell
James tensely watches the fortress. He was leading the real attack party coming from the south. The distracting force was coming from the west on the boats borrowed from the vilagers. Zero sits next to him and places a hand on his shoulder. "The group will be fine. Artemis has seiged this place before. She even raised her own ragtag army. " James raises his eyebrow in shock. Zero chuckles. "What? Do you expect to be the apprentice of a hero and not be a hero yourself? My work rubs off." James smiled gratefully. Just then Zero's face grows serious. "They're here." He looks at James for his command.
James ponders the approaching boats, waiting till a black arrow streaks through the sky. "Go!"
Zero flickers and disappears. Soon, the men behind him shift into position. From his position on the rise, James could see Lord Arhowld leading the battle. Though the lord isn't originally from Torien, he is completely loyal to him. Being part Sardan, Lord arhowld has inherited the berserker-like madness during battle, but since he has lived here so long, he could control when and where he went berserk. As his men climbs onto the walls, the defender drop as another lord leads the small group of archers to aim a fire. Artemis scrambles up the walls quickly and is soon cutting down the defenders from the shadows. A roar split the air as Lord Arhowld slashes his sword with a vengence. James shouts the charge and the army swarms down to the fortress. Soon, the enemies are surrounded. James cuts another spearman across the stromach and reaches the large courtyard. Artemis is standing on a fallen cart sending an arrow every second, or at least around there. She motions with her head toward a door behind the defending army. James turns to Zero who is in a duel with a burly axer. "Artemis and I are going into the inner rooms. She saw the leader run in there."
Zero nods. "Go, Your Highness!"
James shoulders and cuts his way towards the NightHunter. Artemis stands next to the door. She slides her sword next to the latch and pries it open. "Follow me." she says sprinting down the dark hallway without a sound.
They reach the room at the end jut as the leader runs out. James glares at him. "To abandon your men is cowardly. If you knew you didn't stand a chance, then you cold've surrendered and stopped this bloodshed. You're fate is the same as your men." James munges at him as he clumssily blocks. James strikes again with a series of lighting fast strikes leaving no time for a counter attack. The man throws a smoke bomb in James face. "Ack!" he exclaims. He glances around. Listening to the sound of his breathing and the movment of the smoke around him. He got a vague idea where the leader was. Slashing in the direction, his guess had been correct. The leader drops to the ground and long glash across the stormach.
Artemis turns to him. "I'm almost done with these guys. You go on ahead and see if there are any others. James tries to argue but Artemis cuts him off. "Just go! You need to live so you can take the throne."
James nods and sprints down the hallway. After close inspection, he is sure that no one else is there. he jogs back to Artemis who is now surrounded by corpses. "Let's see how the others are doing." Jame says. Artemis nods and they start off towards the clanging of blades.
